A serious eye infection from the protozoan, Acanthamoeba, has been identified as being transmitted primarily from water sources, such as swimming pools, hot tubs, river, lakes, even tap water. Be advised to avoid wearing your contact lenses while engaging in any water activity. If contacts are worn, remove and sterilize them afterwards and do not wear them overnight. This is a rare infection but the importance of only using contact lens solutions on your lenses cannot be overstated. Please call our office for additional information and our recommendations for proper contact lens care.

These are new frames and come with a one year warranty and are normally priced at $100+. This offer is great for the back-up pair of spectacles, the extra pair of readers, or the spare pair for the contact lens wearer. Be sure to compare our in-office pricing to any existing internet pricing. On in-office annual supply purchases, we offer discounts, rebates, and free shipping to your address. Some of these rebates are not available with on-line purchases and many times our in-office prices meet and beat the on-line costs. Compare and save. Another point to remember when comparing in-office and on-line sales: WE SERVICE WHAT WE SELL. Regarding matters of warranty or Rx change or refunds, it is easier to deal with people (in our office) than the internet.
